Mariah Lee is a Melbourne based international artist,
originally from South Korea and currently undertaking BFA at the Victorian
College of the Arts. Lee’s current practice explores the concept of our
collective psychological phobia from society and its duality and struggle through a number of mediums –
video, drawing, sculpture and installations. Bases reference the landscape,
investigating the void between awareness of darkness and the intrinsic sense of
fear and anxiety.
