Haley Rose is a Melbourne based artist
currently studying a BFA at the Victorian College of the Arts. Throughout her
time at the Victorian College of the Arts, Rose’s work has seen her explore
themes of identity, gender, race, and white Australian culture through
sculpture, painting, text and photography.
Rose’s current work sees her
investigate the didactic between Australian crime, the prison system, and male
gang mentality contextualized within the inner-urban Australian landscape.
